Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026

Your privacy matters. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Quiet Mind ("we", "us", "our") collects, how it is used, and the rights you have over it. We are committed to handling your data in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and other applicable global privacy laws.

1. Who we are

Quiet Mind is a small studio creating digital wellbeing resources. For the purposes of GDPR, we act as the data controller for the personal information collected through this website.

2. Information we collect

  • Order information — your name, email address, country, and the products you purchased. This is collected by Lemon Squeezy at checkout and shared with us so we can fulfil your order and meet our legal obligations.
  • Email correspondence — if you contact us directly.
  • Anonymous analytics — aggregated, non-identifying information about how visitors use our site (such as page views and approximate region) to help us improve the experience.

We do not see, collect, or store your payment card details.

3. Payments and the role of Lemon Squeezy

All payments on Quiet Mind are processed by Lemon Squeezy, who acts both as our payment processor and as the Merchant of Record for every transaction.

This means that Lemon Squeezy:

  • Collects and processes all transaction data (payment details, billing address, tax information);
  • Calculates, collects, files, and remits sales tax, VAT, and GST worldwide;
  • Securely stores your payment information in accordance with PCI-DSS;
  • Sends your order confirmation and download-link email automatically.

For details on how Lemon Squeezy handles your data, please see the Lemon Squeezy Privacy Policy.

4. Legal basis for processing (GDPR)

  • Performance of a contract — to deliver the products you have purchased.
  • Legal obligation — to comply with tax, accounting, and consumer-protection laws.
  • Legitimate interests — to operate, secure, and improve our website.
  • Consent — where required, for example for optional marketing emails.

5. How we use your information

  • To deliver your purchased digital products.
  • To respond to support requests.
  • To meet our legal and tax obligations.
  • To understand and improve how our site is used (in aggregate only).

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

6. Data retention

We retain order-related information for as long as required by applicable tax and accounting law (typically 6–10 years). Other personal information is kept only as long as necessary for the purposes set out above.

7. International transfers

Because we and our service providers operate globally, your information may be processed in countries outside your own. Where required, appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you;
  • Request correction or deletion of your data;
  • Object to or restrict certain processing;
  • Request portability of your data;
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent;
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@quietmind.example.

9. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work hard to safeguard your data.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, with the date last updated shown above.
